The Honey & Beau Story

Honey & Beau is an innovative, youthful, fashion-forward label created by Sue Zhong.

Having worked for some of Australia’s leading designers including Collette Dinnigan, Trent Nathan and Lisa Ho, Sue started Honey & Beau in 2003 to capture a place in the young designer marketplace.

The label is true to Sue’s inspiration to create a brand of her own which uses top quality and largely natural fabrics in stylish functional pieces for both day and evening wear. With her unsurpassed eye for detail and exceptional style, Honey & Beau is becoming an important lifestyle brand.

The Honey & Beau range includes mix and match separates, must-have simply styled skirts and gorgeous tops (which can be dressed up or down according to the occasion) and there is also an emphasis on stunning dresses in unique printed fabrics. Sue and her design team incorporate the latest key trends and the range will often feature beautiful finishings, such as mother of pearl, shell, bone or leather as delicate and exotic trims.

Honey & Beau's success is due in part to Sue's commitment to connecting with her customers. "I want to build a relationship with my customers. I know who they are and what they are looking for in fashion and I want them to know and understand my brand. The thing I hear all the time, is that customers want fashionable pieces that allow them to update their wardrobe easily, without the disappointing price tag. I think we’ve achieved this with the Honey & Beau label," she says.
